On December 10, 2025, THACO AUTO exported its first premium Thaco Mobihome sleeper buses to the Philippines, marking another milestone in the company's international expansion strategy and demonstrating its research and manufacturing capabilities in producing high-quality buses for long-distance passenger transport. The vehicles were delivered to customers through BJ Mercantile (BJM), THACO AUTO’s distributor in the Philippines, the first THACO-branded sleeper buses to enter the Philippine market.

Seeking to elevate customer experience, the Thaco Mobihome features 22 sleeping cabins following a 1:1 layout. Each cabin boasts generous space and curtains, offering a tranquil and private resting environment throughout the journey. The interior features modern styling with gentle LED lighting combined with premium materials, delivering a relaxed and comfortable experience for passengers on long-distance routes.

Beyond the premium cabin design, the bus comes fully equipped with practical amenities, including individual entertainment screens, USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports, a restroom, and a high-capacity air conditioning system with vents for each cabin. The Thaco Mobihome is powered by a Weichai WP9H336E5 engine delivering 336 horsepower and meeting Euro 5 emissions standards, providing powerful, stable, and fuel-efficient performance. The vehicle's technical systems have been refined to suit road conditions in the Philippines, ensuring long-term operational efficiency.

The new-generation Thaco Mobihome sleeper bus is researched, manufactured, and assembled on modern production lines at the THACO BUS Plant, one of Southeast Asia's largest bus manufacturing facilities. The product was specifically developed for high-quality long-distance transport, offering flexible configurations to meet diverse export demands.
